School Staff Wellbeing & Emotional Health Training

All-Through Schools

This can be a full day, half day or twilight session for staff.

 

It is a practical, interactive workshop with opportunities to reflect, discuss and explore strategies together.

Learning Outcomes

 

On completion of this workshop, staff will: 

​

  • understand what emotional health is and why it matters

  • have explored strategies to support their own emotional health 

  • have recognised their part in supporting the emotional health of those around them

​

Workshop Overview

​

This workshop will introduce the concept of emotional health, exploring skills such as self-awareness, self-belief, self-agency, self-regulation, relationship skills.

 

There will be a focus on the importance of looking after our own emotional health if we are to support pupils well in their emotional health.

 

Creating an emotionally healthy workplace involves every adult and so there will also be opportunities to consider how individuals and relational habits can contribute to the emotional health of those around us.

 

Strategies for developing an emotionally healthy culture will be explored and practised.
