Case study: Relationships at the core of the school community

"Once you build relationships with the children, and with their families, sharing knowledge and working together – well, then you can make a real difference". David Lewin, Headteacher

This case study by relationships charity Fastn shows the outcomes of working in a whole-school approach way.

We worked with Wood Farm primary school in Oxford, to provide a whole-school approach to building strong relationships that support children, parents and teachers, resulting in high staff retention and above-average pupil improvement.

Our work included a package of joined-up activities, including staff training, teaching approach, and culture change, through a whole-school approach.
