The Nurturing Programme in Prisons
The Nurturing Programme has been running in prisons for several years. Its aim is to help prisoners stay in contact with their families and reintegrate more easily when they are released. Research has shown how it benefits the whole family and can help cut reoffending.

Action for Prisoners’ Families have some very useful facts and figures on this subject.
