Family Links 2-day course Getting It Right With Families (GIRWF) equips staff to work effectively with parents and children on a one-to-one basis by promoting a consistent approach to positive behaviour management.
The training takes place over 2 consecutive days and includes
- a thorough introduction to the principles and practice of the Nurturing Programme.
- skills training in one-to-one mentoring to develop trust and build relationships with parents
- strategies for encouraging positive behaviour in children
- resources including The Parenting Puzzle book
