Parent Group Leader Training

Family Links’ Parent Group Leader Training is for those working formally or informally with parents, carers and families. The training offers

The course takes place over 5 days: 4 days initial training and a refresher day 1 year later.

Assessment is based on the key roles outlined in the National Occupational Standards for Work with Parents and involves:

Ideal if you have a group of 12-16 practitioners who require training

  • 2 trainers will come to your chosen venue
  • Price includes 4-day training, refresher day after 12 months, materials and all trainers expenses

Individual PGL Training
Ideal for smaller numbers. A minimum of 2 Parent Group Leaders are required to run parent groups

  • 4 day courses run in Hull and Oxford and elsewhere according to demand
  • practitioners can attend as an individual or with their co-facilitator
