How the Nurturing Programme complements Islamic Religious Values
Islamic Values and The Parenting Puzzle is a useful tool for trainers working with Muslim families. Its ten chapters follow the ten sessions of the Nurturing Programme, using extracts from the Quran and some sayings (hadiths) of the Prophet Mohammed. With a foreword by Professor Tariq Ramadan and endorsements by the Muslim Law (Shariah) Council UK and The Muslim College in London, it provides the assurance that some Muslims may need that this programme will not diverge from their faith base.
Islamic Values and The Parenting Puzzle is not a modified version of The Parenting Puzzle and should only be used on Family Links-approved parenting programmes in tandem with The Parenting Puzzle. A booklet of The Parenting Puzzle is also available in Urdu.
